Greetings: I would like some input from anyone on or who has done Pegasys therapy. I did Peg-Intron a year and a half ago and stopped responding after 9 months.
My Doctor thinks I may have a better chance with Pegasys,I am Geno 1b. Would appreciate any input. Thanks......Unzzz!

Im 55 male genotype 2b pegasys/copegus. So far so good. I do shot #3 tomorrow night. I have been drinking alot of fluids and trying to eat healthy. Using Ginger snaps to soothe the sour belly. I suggest listening to your Dr. words carefully and try to understand what it is he/she is saying and why. Good luck.

are yourThanks for the comeback Okie. Yea, sounds like we are two peas in a different pod as far as this Disease goes
and how we aquired it. I have heard Pegasys sides are not as bad in most people as Peg_Intron was. This is incouraging, because once you have done tx., and you know whats coming again it's not much to look forward to. You are 2b: thats great. Are You gonna do 6 months
or the whole thing. I think response has been good for the 2b's, has it not, as far a SVR anyway. How are your sides so far. Powerman if you should read this please jump in with your two cents as far as the sides go, or whatever.I used to drink 3-5 liters of water a day, Okie and that really helped with the sides.

I need to correct something I'm 51. Not 55. I have heard others that used Peg the first time and now on Pegasys. Some of them say it's better and other seem to have the same sides as the Peg. I'm not sure but the mind can play some funny tricks on people. I am lucky to only have to do 6 months for sure. I stay active/ eat good foods/ sleep and drink water/gatorade. My travel is fine. Very few sides. Let's see I've had Flu/Fever/Aches/Fatique/Itchy skin/sore mouth/Hot eyeballs. All of these never lasted to long though. OverAll it's OK not great but OK.
