Any transfer of blood, even in tiny amounts, which could occur during open-mouth kissing, could transmit the virus. That said, I would refrain from kissing following teeth-brushing and flossing, but the risk would be small at other times. Do you have gum disease? If so, the risk is higher. I wish the risk were zero with open-mouth kissing, but it is *low* and perhaps she won't be worried about the risk, if you're honest with her.
The risk is zero with close-mouthed kissing.
Don't share ANY personal-care items including: toothbrush, toothpaste tube, nail clippers, razors...
