Thumbs up finally, FINALLY START TREATMENT

HI EVERYONE!!!! I finally get to start treatment on tuesday after a who;e lot of run around. The drug company yankin my chain n putting me off, I finally got my meds n shots thursday and go tuesday to clinic n c specialist 4 my instructions. thank god 4 programs that assist people like me.. I am very excited and scared at the same time..
If it hadnt been 4 this board n my belief n god n my family praying 4 me n friends i dont think I would have gotten here alive today... anyway very hopeful and anxious... Hoping not very harsh side effects but if there are I will get through em. Good luck to everyone wherever they are in their disease or treatment I pray 4 u all every day. Please keep me n your prayers and wish me luck!! GOD BLESS

Hi Purple27...and congrats on starting treatment. This board will help you a lot during treatment. I still visit it daily. I finished treatment at the end of Nov. 09 and feel great! All my tests are coming back normal. You can do this. Laugh a lot and make light of it. I will definitely be praying for you. take care...gloria

Yay! you have taken the first steps in this adventurous journey. My nurse always tells me to think of the side effects as signs the drugs are working. Just a positive way to look at them. Hope the best for you and remember, drink water!

thank you so very much. I did start my treatment today feel pretty crappy rite now..... And water is a definate help. I cant get enough to drink... thanks 4 the prayers and i keep you posted. GOD BLESS

Thanks, I am hopeing to keep a posetive look on this crappiness I feel lol. and maybe when my treatment is over the tests come back normal. GOD BLESS

Hi Purple 27.I started my tx on march 16 alot of water makes a world of difference. i gto alot of the side affects at first but now it is getting easier .Try to rest when you are tired i drink alot of ginger ale for the naseau also take gravol with ginger root in it it is amazing. You know your body best listen to it and it will tell you what it needs .God never deals us more than we cxan handle somjetimes we don't understand the raeson things happen but we just have to travel along that bumpy road and learn as we go and appreciate life a lot more .I will pray for you that all goes well with your tx and keep me posted Take care DAWN
