I have been involved with Healthboards for a little while and have only posted a couple things, but i am discouraged by the fact that i cant get people to respond. I see thousands of people on here but very few follow through with their issue, including myself! I have great concerns regarding the things in my life which include my husband dying suddenly, i have hep c due to a ex husband I try to forget, and being on methadone I really want some kind of outlet to talk with people about these issues and I trust this website! Anyone that can and will discuss and help me with my fears I gladly welcome! I look forward to any response I get!!! Thank you everyone for listeneing!!

i also have had hep c for the past 12 or so years and now my blood count is elevated. Am going to see specialist a week today and am wondering about future.i just joined this sight because I too am frightened,and need to express myself somewhere.so glad to have found this site! Talk soon.

Thank you so much for writing me something, I feel terrible because I wrote that then I haven't been back on, it has made me realize we all get caught up in our own lives and can't always just stop and write some unknown person on a web-site!! hahahah But really, since my husband died in August suddenly at 45, I have been all over as far as emotions and "poor pitiful me" breakouts that just having someone acknowledge me makes me feel good, so again THANK YOU sincerly and I am hanging in there thats all we can do, right???? Hope where ever you are life is treating you well!

I hope your appointment went well and maybe?? you had good news! I was diagnosted just last year and I think I am in a sorta denial mode. I don't think about it, I don't talk to my immediate family or friends about it, I don't know what to do about it!!! I have this crazy thought that I'm gonna die of something so if thats what takes me out I will worry about it thenn!! STUPID HUH!!!!! But I have been through enough for right now, with my mom dying in Feb "10" and my husband in Aug "10" without warning I just can't worry about this hep c crap!!! Please let me know what happened with you!!!

Sorry to hear about your situation.....................hurry up to go to that specialist............that meds you are taking are for pain not for Hep c

Thank you for responding, I know the meds i take now are for pain, but my concerns now are they going to make my hep c worse quicker! My dr. says that since I have been on this medicine for so long it is a very LOW probability that I will ever be able to come off them and not real sure I even want to go through all it takes to get off them. I guess a specalist will make that all clearer and my new insurance is in affect so I will get on that appt. as soon as possible. It's just nice to have someone to hash it all out with. I don't know if you ave read my story, but the most important person in my life passed away last August and it has been hell ever since. Don't get me wrong I have a great family and In-Laws but they don't know about all my "dirty little secrets" so to speak, so I feel all alone noww in tis situation!!! So again thank you so much for writing back!! You have made my day today!!!

hi i feel Ur fear AND is concern also i to suffer fro hep C and it during time i was in the hospital sick a while back when i was young so i still have faith in\ God i will over come it but there are health food and herbal vitamins that take the place of medication u can find it at health food store if look it up on computer that good too i forgot the name but it good they will help u at the store cause is as for it but i at stage 3 now so medicine is not good for me now,
