| Hepatitis C & CLL (Leukemia)
Hi all,
My mother has had CLL for the past year. It is a more dormant form of Leukemia and poses no threat as such and does not require any treatment. During her recent visit to the United States, the docs there suspected Hepatitis C which was confirmed in New Delhi.
The doctor here has recommended to start the treatment at the earliest while her CLL is at a lower stage. He will be using Ribavirin/Pegasus.
My mom is 61 years old and also has high Blood pressure and Diabetes. Can you please tell me how rough is this treatment, in terms of side effects etc?
