Is 6 weeks enough time for a Hep C test to be considered accurate?
 

On on June 26, 2012 was the day I possibly contracted Hepatitis C from work. Sept 11, 2012 (47 days after possible infection) was the day I did my Hepatitis C antibody test. Fortunately, it tested negative, but can I consider this accurate?

I've read that the window period for Hep c is 3 months, so I'm not sure how confident I feel towards this test.

I live in Canada; I am a male; I don't drink, party, or do drugs. I'm somewhat skinny. I've only slept with one woman, my current wife who I've been married to for 15 years. Essentially, I live a pretty safe life.
