Thank you for such a great reply... actually I was seeing my family doctor for follow up from my fall when that back problems began. So he was the one who ordered the MRI. He said at this point he didn't feel the need to refer to a neurosurgeon at this point.
I had a good day yesterday, then to only wake up this morning and not be able to lift my leg two inches off the bed in a laying position. It seems so frustrating. I know will get through this and I appreciate finding this little corner of the web
As for my meds, I fear that dependence will rear its ugly head when the bring me off dilaudid in 2 weeks to lortab. I fear that itwill not alleviate all the pain, but I will cross that bridge when I get to it. I will not think something is not going to work until I try it. That is the biggest thing. Have faith that Doc's know what they are doing. Although I am not "officially" a nurse, I know some of us think we know better.... hahahaa and I need to give my doc's expertise a chance. I have a great relationship with him (he's a cute resident) <--- all in jest----> but atleast he is open and honest about my treatment and what he is using to treat me. So, at this point I am going to let my family doc treat my issue.
Thanks so much for the reply............ Nice to know you are there!

Love, Kelly
