hi harry ,i have posted on here a lot but havent for a while .the proton pump meds have not worked in controlling my reflux ,i have been hospitalized 4 times from dehydration and bleeding.my esophogus is so damaged that i know have to be screened every 3to 4 months for cancer.my gastro dr has no recommended and i have seen the surgeon who has also reccommended and has scheduled me for the nnesson fundolication surgery on april 6,she is also going to repair my hiatal hernia and remove my gallbladder.if there is anyone who can give me advice or have had this procedure please let me know .i know you have harry. thank you tmm40

Well--well well - the new tmm40, I guess you are older now??
Your user name was tmm35 in 2002--- and as I recall you had problems then in 2002 & 2003 with your esophagus- then you vanished from the boards. Did you change servers or forget your password?

Sorry that your problems have not gotten any better and now you need surgery.

I never had the Fundo surgery only GERD but our resident expert about that surgery was Katie G.
She posted alot about it but have not seen on the boards lately.
You can do a search on Google at the top of this page on healthboards --- for --- Katie G --- and read some of her older posts--- she helped alot of people here because of her success with the surgery and faithfulness to share.

It's good to hear from you even under these circumstances!!!
