Hernia in Pregnancy?

Hi guys,

I have been experiencing a lot of lower abdominal pain (I am 34 wks) and one night I turned over without thinking and I got a sharp pain on my lower right side of my abdomen. It is just above my pubic bone. I went to the doc a couple of days later, and he felt it and said it may be a hernia. I was wondering if anyone else has been diagnosed with a hernia during pregnancy and what you did to relieve the pain?

I also did not feel as though he gave me a thorough examination to determine if it actually was a hernia. Is there anything else it can be? It is very painful at nights, and mornings. It is making it very difficult to walk, as every time I lift my right leg I get a sharp pain.

Thanks for your help.
