| | Possible Abdominal Hernia
I had Gastric Bypass back in August & Gallbladder surgery back in January, and I'm wondering if I have a hernia from one of them - specifically the Gallbladder surgery. I've recently - about a week ago - started having pain in the R side of my abdomen over by my kidney, appendix, lower lung, ex-gallbladder... ya know, around there. I don't have a fever or deathly ill like you'd expect from an appendicitis. Of course, I don't know how long one could be festering before it actually gets bad to show severe symptoms. I have been having more nausea then usual (i.e. have health problems like lupus that causes some + some from the gastric bypass) that tends to affect my appetite lately.
It really only hurts if I bend over, cough, heave when I get nausesous... Then it goes right away with just a little residual discomfort for a few seconds.
The pain is sharp, burny, stingy... I guess that would describe it. I'm never very good at that.
What do you think could be the deal?
Any help is much appreciated!
