Is this a hernia or something with epididymus? - Hernia Message Board

I'm 22, probably doesn't matter the age, but anyway for the past few days I have had this dull pain. It is on the right sight side, sort of where my pube hair ends and the stem of the penis begins. I lift weights but the thing is I haven't lifted weights or done anything too strenuous in over a week now and that's when the pain started. With the way I sleep sometimes my boxers get twisted and could do some damage to that area I suppose.

I have had minor testicle pain before, a little lower than where the pain is now, but it goes away eventually and I have had it checked and it turned out to be nothing serious. Anyway, I haven't slept with anything on the past few nights to test and although the pain is still there, it has lessened. I'd like to go back to lifting weights and I figure if there is no bulge right there, it's not a hernia, anyone that can help I'd appreciate it.

It could be a Hernia, it could be Epididymits or it could be the VERY SERIOUS, but easily treatable Testicular Torsion. I would go to the doctor ASAP to get checked out. If it is TT, and you delay, you could lose it.
