| What are you taking for DDD & Herniated Discs?
Here's my problem...
I have DDD in my Thoracic and Lumbar and Herniated Disc in my Cervical Spine. My treatment has been Fentanyl patch and Percocets for BT pain. I've been on the percocets for over 10 years and the patch for a year. I'm surprised the Percocets have helped as long as it been but I feel there is a need for change, something stronger. My PM dr rx'd me 15mg oxycodone for a recent surgery but feel like it didn't do anything.
I have 2 questions: 1, would it be wrong of me to request roxicodone in 30mg or something equivelent? I also was thinking of switching to methadone from the fentanyl since I get the sweats with the patch. It makes me feel like I need a 2nd shower some days!!
2nd, did a minor disectomy help you or did it just shift the pain to a new area?
I just recently had a micro discectomy done on the lumbar on the left but now I'm getting the pain in the center and the right side as well as still the Thoracic since it was just done on the lumbar. I still have pain on the left but not as bad. How well did it work for you if at all?
