Could this be a Hiatus Hernia
 

Hi, For years now i have had Gerd/acid reflux and also have chest pains.

But have sometime very bad bouts were i have chest/left shoulder pain and find that the one relief is belching and then that is short lived until the next time.
Have had ecgs in the past and a stress test and they were ok.

Also when i have these bouts of pain i find it hard to talk (sound chesty/hoarse) find it easier to shout than try to speak normal if that make sense also get short of breath.

Could this be a Hiatus Hernia

What did your doc who did the test say? I had an MRI and my Hiatal Hernia showed up perfectly, I also had severe GERD. I had to have a Nissan Fundiplication and hiatial hernia repair, and after that everything was find. I could eat normally, no more heart burn, belching, pain all the time...it was great.
