| Hernia Operation 23/09
I've just under gone a inguinal hernia operation, and got home earlier today.
Was in at 12am Friday and out 12am Saturday. I had two one on the left and one on the right, the left was much much bigger and visable.
It has been done keyhole and I have 3 holes evenly spaced apart, somewhat higher than where the hernia was.
I'm not going anywhere fast... lol
so If anyones got any questions they want answering from someone whos undergone the op recently feel free.
See if I can put this experience to some good use!
initially what I've found so far is, I maby think I should of had it done with a local and not been put to sleep, because wile I was asleep (I'm a light smoker) it has bought abit of stuff up off my chest and has caused me to coff alot, this isnt very pleasant... A good bit of advise from the nurse though, witch is well worth noting. Have a thick cushon to hand and held very tightly in the stomache and bend over abit this helps an orful lot!
