Heartburn, hip/groin pain, wind...
5 weeks ago whilst out playing golf I had a sudden pain in my chest/sternum area that took my breath away, although immediately after I felt fine... as the following day prolonged I had a somewhat tight chest and a feeling of breathlessness so we went to hospital, my initial concern was I'd had some sort of heart issue... well a few hours in hospital hooked up to ECG, heart rate monitor and a blood test came back all fine... doctor suggested it was possible bad Gastro reflux...
The chest pain continued but eased over the next couple of days but I developed a weird discomfort in my left inguinal/hip/groin area... a discomfort as if blocked, or something in my pocket was digging in... not necessarily a pain as such... this has been on and off over the past 5 weeks with no obvious pattern, although its more apparent when bent over, sat...
I have over the last 5 weeks been to my doctors 4/5 times and he is struggling to diagnose... he took 3 blood tests that all came back fine (i don't really know what they looked for in these)
So all these symptoms have been coming and going with no apparent pattern... I've had sporadically the heartburn, wind, left inguinal/hip/groin discomfort, dry mouth, and two or three times very thin stools.
I've NOT had bloody or dark stools, I've NOT felt sick, I've been going to toilet fine apart from the odd pencil thin stool.
If it helps, I'm 28, I go to Gym 3 times a week, play football, golf.... I have stopped these over the last couple of weeks but not huge improvement.
Can anyone shine any light on the situation???
