Para umbilical hernia and want a baby

Hello all,
A week ago I took surgery for para umbilical hernia above my navel, the doctor told me to not get pregnant for 6 months but I'm getting impatient and want to try for another baby, so what's possible to happen to me or my baby if I do get pregnant? Anyone been thought that? Please advise me....

My guess is that you risk reopening the hernia. Hernias take a long time to fully heal, and a baby would most likely cause complications with it.

I would ask the doctor what could happen to be sure, but that is my best guess.
