I had ACDF C3-4 disc replacement 3 weeks ago and I am still having swallowing problem, beside the slight pain in the throat. Doctor has adviced to take soft food. My tongue also swelled half side on the the right somuch that a tablet had to be pushed down with finger but it has normalised now. The most annoying thing is the hard collar I am wearing since operation and which I have to wear for next 3 months. r for next 3 months. I remove only for shower with care not to tilt the head at all. one other problem is that my stomache keeps aching several times a day.
