Hi Jessica, (hey, we have the same name

)welcome to the board!
As you'll read over and over, what works for one person may not work for another, which sucks and means lots of experimentation, but what can you do?
My Obs are a lot like yours it sounds like, every mentrual cycle and it's just some bumps, no blisters, just lots of itching. Mine are on my butt cheek, just inside my crack. So annoying, but I guess if could be worse. Have you ever had really bad obs? or have they always been kind of mild?
Read all of the threads about OOO, OLE, Garlic Oil and other suppliments and topicals. You may have done that by now, I know when I found this board I was so happy to see so much info and experience that I read probably every word!
I would guess that it will help you to get your system up and running properly. I know that I did a bunch of blood work recently and found some things off-kilter, my adrenals among other things, and when I righted them my energy levels came up and I also mentally felt like I was in a better way and felt like I could fight things off.
I'm a chocoholic too and have toned it down a lot, although i ate some chocolate the other day and it didn't seem to hurt. I was experimenting. It seems that my MAIN trigger is my stinkin period, a tough thing to get around. I've found a lot of relief from garlic oil, something you might want to look into. It helps tremendously with itching and I think it helps with lengh of the OB as well.
I have a few questions for you... Did your OBs get worse while you were pregnant? Does your husband have H as well? Were you able to have a vaginal birth? or were you having an Ob at the time you delivered?
I've never tried any prescription treatments, just a combo of Lysine, Olive leaf Extract, garlic (raw and tablets), some specific vitamins (that I found i needed after the blood work) and clean living, and it seems to keep things at bay. You'll find lots of info and nice people here, and hopefully some relief from your Obs!
Good luck
