I have a quick question I hope u guys can help me out with. When u pop a herpes blister, what comes out of it? Cuz I had a bump on my pubic hair region and it looked like a hair follicle. When I popped it blood came out, it never hurt or anything. Now it decreased in size but is still there. When I popped it a hair came loose and I pulled it out. So would this most likely be an ingrown hair or a herpes bump? Im asking cuz I heard that a herpes bumps let off liquid or pus. This gave off blood. Or do Herpes bumps bleed when popped? Thanks for ur help.

It sounds like an ingrown hair. I have never poped a hsv blister it would hurt so bad! I have had ingrown hairs on my bikini line before and when you squeze it the hair comes out with blood.

Thanks! U have no idea how relieving that is to hear. That's what I figured. Cuz everyone says that HSV blisters hurt way too much too be popped. This did not hurt at all and the hair came out with blood. Now 2 days later it's starting to go away and it doesn't hurt one bit. But I just had to make sure, I've been paranoid about this for a long time, even though I tested negative for both types of H a month ago. Thanks again.
