Valtrax is an anti-viral prescription medication, that you get from a doctor. I would think you can get in canada or online. I start taking it as soon as I notice any symptons. Which for me is once a month, prior to my period. I was dx. with "H" in 10-03 and have gotten an OB, once a month since then. The OB seem to be getting less and less severe each month.
