Garlic Oil? - Herpes Message Board

I'm new to this board and keep seeing "garlic oil" and supplements.

Would someone be so kind to let me in on this secret and its results?

You use fresh garlic. Remove 2 or 3 of the cloves. Remove the skin and cut each piece up in thirds. Put these pieces in a container which has a tight lid and cover them with extra virgin olive oil. Wait a couple of hours. Apply this oil on the area that starts to tingle which signifies the beginning of and outbreak. Use as many times a day as needed. It has stopped my outbreaks so far.

You can also take garlic pills (I take 2000 mg in the morning and 2000 again at night) and can eat fresh garlic, like cut up on top of spaghetti or whatever.
