are herpes blisters soft and do they burst easily?
i have a lump that is not painful, not swelled, not itchy, no oozing, nothing.
little backstory, i shave everything. and this time, not unlike other times, i got some razor burn. stupid me i forgot to change the blade and it was REALLY dull. so anyhoo, i was checking out the progress of my razor burn and i scratched a bump. but i'm paranoid. i know i need to go to the dr. cause i had a very confusing diagnosis back in aug. yeah you have it, no you dont, yeah you do. i was treated w/ valtrex anyway. so i dont really know, i think that my problem i had was a result of a latex allergy that got really irritated cause i kept 'examining' myself. i never had any scabbing and i healed VERY quickly, like a week and a half. i haven't had any problems since.
so i am just trying to figure out if it was a pearly papule that came to the surface, an ingrown hair or a herpes sore. but whatever it is, it DOES NOT hurt at all. i know everyone's level of pain is different but i do not have a very high threshold for pain, so if it hurt i would be saying so.
i'd just like some opinions to calm my nerves.
what do you guys think?
my big question is how easily do the blisters burst...cause admittedly, this did not 'burst' easily. (i type it like that cause it was more like a picking than a bursting and yes i know i should be gentle with my friend downstairs but i am obsessive like that. and yes i know i shouldn't pick too. ugh. i'm such an obsessive freak)
