Does carob have the same effect that chocolate has on H?

I've never heard any mention of it, and I think it's derived from a totally different source, so I would guess maybe it's ok. I hadn't thought about carob, I haven't eaten it since I was little and my sis and I convinced "santa" to stop bring us carob at christmas and start bringing us chocolate. (growing up in the midwest 20 years ago, I think my mom was one of the only patrons of our only healthfood store in town. I thank her for it now.) I do kind of like carob though... could be a good alternative.

Carob is not at all like chocolate: it is actually very good for you, and is especially soothing to the stomach. I can't say what its effect on h would be.
