Help what is this??? - Herpes Message Board

I have hsv-2 genitally and i think i may be getting a cold sore on my lip. It looks like a three small white bumps that go in a line down the top part of the inside of my lip. I noticed then last night. So i of course freeked out. But this morning when i woke up nothing had changed it still looks the same. I have never had a cold sore before so i am not really sure what to expect. Would my doctor possibly perscribe something for this? Anyone have any advice. Thanks.

I have a similar situation as well. I have never had a cold sore in my life and then I have this spot that is kinda tender and has a white spot, but that is it, hasnt broken open so far....and I hope it doesnt. I was also wondering what I could do about this and if it was indeed a cold sore, then I saw your post.

I'm sorry I didnt help any but just thought I would repy since the situation is simular

Ok i dont think what was on my lip was a cold sore cause just a little while ago i was able to rub this white spot off. I dont know what it was though. I think that ever since i have had h every new little bump i notice i think its from the h. Lime22 i hope you figure out what yours is. Good luck.
