Exhaustion!!! - is this common w/ H? - Herpes Message Board

Okay, I have been really, really exhausted over the past few months. Probably started around the time that I was first diagnosed with H six months ago. I am 28 years old. I am young and vibrant. I work a 40 hour week (along with occasional singing gigs at night). I don't do anything too extreme at all. But usually about halfway through the day, and especially when I'm home at night, I am completely and utterly exhausted.

I remember reading a post where someone stated that she stays in tune with her body when trying to recognize an O.B. She stated that she watches for exhaustion as one of the symptoms. So now I'm wondering, is exhaustion common with this virus??? Please help me. I just want to know what's going on with my body for sure. I have not had an O.B. in 6 months. A little tingling here and there, a little burning and swollen feeling down below for a couple days, but no real sores or rashes or anything of that nature. So is it the virus or not? And if it's not some form of an O.B., what is it?

Hey! I'm not sure why...but my husband gets this way also. A day or 2 before an ob he could sleep all day!

This is not everytime but for the most part it has been the routine. Like i said, not sure why? Maybe someone else could help you out there!

LBP35, thank you sooooooooooooooooooooooo much for ur response. I just wanted to see if I had anything in common with the other GH family members.

So, ur husband has it? U don't? I don't want to be nosy but I just need some assistance in the area of conception and just sex...period. What do you do to protect yourselves during sex? Just condoms or just waiting till an OB is over? Do you have children? If so, were they affected at all.

I wanted to reply, but I still can't think of the word, you know that so called kissing disease that people get in HS or college...

Anyway, when i was first diagnosed with the virus, I was also diagnosed with that too, with all the tiredness, swollen glands, headache, etc. - it was tough to differentiate between the two, but since then, I don't have any other symptoms at all when i get an outbreak (just pain and itching).
