| What is the window period for Herpes blood testing?
Hi,
I had some strange red rash and itching on the foreskin of my penis 2 days after sex. This occured for 4 days and went away. Since then I had experienced strange nerve pains.
I tested negative for Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Syphilis and HIV (at the 4 months marks). But, they don't test for Herpes at the clinic I go to unless you got some visible sore or blister near the genital area.
I want to take that Herpes blood test. How widely available is it at public hospitals and clinics? Is it reliable??? And, how many months before do I wait out the window period for Herpes before taking the blood test? thanks.
