ahhh rash.. please please help - Herpes Message Board

I am sixteen and I come from a family that doesn't understand the new generation of kids. I am not saying that because the times changes we should be allowed to run around and be sexually active. But I know, if I talk to them about this they will not understand and nothing good will come out of it. I really have no one to talk to. I need someone to talk to. I'm really scared. My boyfriend and I have been together for 8 months now. I've received oral sex from him about a week and a half ago for the first time. I have this rash that is on the back of my upper thighs and in the genital area and on the anus. It looks like a heat rash almost of diaper rash. I have no abnormal discharge. It sort of burns, it doesn't itch. It doesn't burn when I urinate. Could this be a yeast infection although I don't have discharge? I just have been suffering this whole week thinking something is wrong. One time and you're screwed I swear. Never again will this happen. I have no idea what it could be. I just hope to God it's not genital herpes. We checked ourselves before and he didn't have any cold sores on his lips or inside his mouth. If he had the virus but wasn't suffering from an outbreak could he still give it to me? Maybe, I am overexaggerating. I do not know what I could have. I'm so scared. I feel so sorry for you guys and all that you go through. I am just scared to death. Does anyone know what my symptoms could be? Thank you so so much for your time.

the best way to be sure is to go to a physician, planned parenthood or any local clinic will see you if you don't want to go to your family dr.
not to say you do have herpes, but it can be transmitted without any noticeable outbreaks

There are so many things it could be. Can you possibly get to a gynocologist without your parents knowing? I know where you are, even though I am 45. I was a teenager in the 70's, and my parents are fundamenal Southern Baptists. I had to go to Planned Parenthood to get the Pill without their knowledge.

Another idea is to go to a gynocologist, but tell your parents it is for your yearly (and necessary) pap smear--which, you know, checks for cancer and needs to be done whether you are sexually active or not.
