Red bump - please help me. - Herpes Message Board

I had unprotected sex about a month ago. About a week later I had sex with my X but wore a condom. 2 days later I noticed a tiny pinkish-red bumb on the shaft of my penis. about 2 or three days later the redness went away and the bump went down.

Does this sound like herpes? I havent had any symptoms other than back pain yesterday but I was in the car in an uncomfortable seat for 6 hours.

I am going crazy. Please help me.

It sounds like potential herpes but to be sure you should get tested eventually.

Either try to get a culture test with swab if it returns or blood test.

Just try to refrain from having unprotected sex until you know for sure.

If the bump returns and disappears within days again, then that would be a good indication of herpes.
