Hi all.
I have a question. Is a swollen labia (vaginal lip) a symptom of herpes??
About 3 weeks ago I started to get a black and blue sensation on my labia but it only hurt when I wiped. Well after 3 weeks I figured I would go get it checked out. I went to my GYN and he told me he thinks it's herpes. I was devestated since I have only been with my husband for 12 years. Well I have no doubt he hasn't cheated on me. We are together ever waking moment. But besides that
I now have a enlarged or swollen labia, it hurts to walk or stand as it feels sooo sore. I have no itching, no foul smell, and no blister (THAT I CAN SEE) my GYN thinks he saw some. I don't get b/w or culture results till monday so I'm sitting and waiting.
Do you think it can be herpes?? If it wasn't for the black and blue sensationo I would feel nothing at all. Also I have read some places to do a "vinegar test" what is that??
I put some vagiguard on it today and it has helped very little so I'm bearing it and getting through till monday. One last question is there any danger in letting it go so long if it is herpes? I mean should my doctor have given me something???
