Help please

Alright, I just found this out today. I'd appreciate it if any knowledgable person could help me out here.

There is this girl who I've hooked up with twice in the last 3 months. We did not have sex, but we had oral sex (both ways). There also might have been very limited genital to genital contact.
Today she tells me she has just tested positive for Herpes 2, after having horrible symptoms for the past couple days. This is now about a month since we last hooked up. She says she is absolutely sure she got it from me because she has never had sex, and has only had oral sex with one other guy (who had never had oral sex before that). I was completely shocked because I have never had sex either, and only had oral sex with one other girl (4.5 years ago). I have also never shown the slightest sign of herpes symptoms.

So here are my questions:
If I do in fact have herpes, I assume that I could have only gotten it from that girl who gave me oral sex 4 years ago. Is it possible to get Herpes 2 just from receiving oral sex? I never had contact with her vagina at all. We were both 16 at the time and she said she had never had sex, and had only performed oral sex on 2 or 3 other guys. It seems to me i could have only got herpes 1 from her, if anything. Also keep in mind that i have never shown the slightest signs of symptoms in 4 years.

Say I did get herpes 1 from her (since my genitals were in contact with her mouth). Is it possible that this could have turned into herpes 2? (because this girl who claims I infected her has herpes 2)

Whats the best way to get tested? I've heard a blood test is the only way if youre not showing symptoms. How long does it take to get the results back?

THANKS A LOT FOR HELPING
god bless

Re: Help please

Herpes type 1 cannot ever turn into herpes type 2, but there is often confusion because some people use the terms "oral herpes" and "type 1" interchangeably as well as "genital herpes" and "type 2" interchangeably.

If I were you, I would clarify with this girl who thinks you have infected her that it is definitely type 2 i.e. she has been blood-tested for both types and type 2 is the one that has resulted. What may have happened here is genital infection of type 1 which is being referred to in the wrong way, because it is indeed unlikely (although not impossible) that you would get type 2 from receiving oral sex because type 2 is rarely found orally.
