prednisone and outbreak
I never had an outbreak since the initial one (13 years ago). I thought I was in remission and would never see it again (since then have been married and have a daughter). Recently took a course of prednisone (an oral steroid I took for asthma) and appear to have an outbreak. Has anyone heard of, or experienced this? My bigger concern is now that it has been "re-activated" can I expect frequent outbreaks as many have experienced or can I go years in between again as long as I'm not immunocompromised again?

To answer your question in a round about way, Yes we can eat certain things or take certain medicines that will trigger an outbreak. As far as reoccuring OB's not sure it sounds like your antibodies will keep it under control. I don't think you have anything to worry about.
