Let me just say first off i am glad boards like this exist. i think i would be in much worse shape if i didnt have posts like the ones here to read for support and advice.
i've been in the process of being diagnosed with HSV2. process you ask? well i went in for my yearly checkup and had an abnormal pap. i freaked out. shortly after going to the Dr i felt a cold sore coming on... that was followed by fever blisters all over my lips. i've been scouring the board looking for anything that would help these go away. i read on webmd that taking garlic and echinacea can help in preventing outbreaks but i am trying to find what i can do about stopping one.
i read some posts about olive leaf extract and plan on going to get some today. any feedback on what is the best to use? i have feverblisters all over my upper lip but not my lower. i bought abreva as well and it seems to be doing nothing so far.
anywho just wanted to say hi and thank you for being a place to turn to. i was so depressed and down on myself until i started reading this board and realized i am not alone and life will go on.
