similar problem i guess, i think i'm expiriencing my first outbreak too. i don't have any flu like symtoms either, but there was some redness down there and i'm unsure of any bumps, but now there is scabbing and again unsure about pussing, but sometimes it hurts/burns and itches, this has all been within four days, i'm getting checked on wednesday. i've been with my boyfriend for a year now and this is the first sign of anything. as soon as i noticed something was wrong i said something to him about me thinking it was a STD and he actually looked up all sorts of information for me on herpes, chlamydia, etc.... he was very supportive and helpful, so if i were you i would mention something right away and you guys should discuss what your concerned that it is, and ask him if he's cheated and tell him no matter what its important that he tells the truth because this could be something serious. thats what me and me boyfriend did and it seems to be working out so far. hope this helps a little
