I guess I should have said typically they don't bleed. This virus acts differently for everyone. A typical blister will have a clear looking fluid containing the virus, if popped, the fluid will touch other areas close by, thus "possibly" making the infection area larger if not cleaned off. I'm sure there are times during an outbreak it can bleed, but it's not common.
