Did you go to the doctor? Any word?
I went off valtrex about a week ago (already having an outbreak! The day of the outbreak, I had a patch of white skin in the same area as you describe, although on the top). I just peeled it off and that was that. Since it's so close to this outbreak (and it's been 5 months plus since my last outbreak, as I've been on suppressive therapy the whole time -- and back on now, thanks to this latest outbreak.).
Anyway, I'm guessing it is related to the outbreak.
