Are you talking an actual scratchy, sore throat or are you talking about having swollen, tender glands in the throat? I think that swollen glands are more indicative of your body fighting an infection, rather than a scratchy/sore throat. Also, I know that one can get an OB shortly after being infected, but the next day doesn't seem likely. If you have any more questions feel free to ask.
