| Re: Ultimate Question
To tell you the truth, I have genital herpes and I've not actually gone and had a blood test to tell if it's hsv 1 or 2 and it really doesn't matter...if you have it in the genital area, it's called genital herpes. Some have been tested here that have genital herpes to find out that they have hsv 1 and not 2 but I don't see it making any difference and they can have just as bad OBs as when you have hsv 2. After watching a video I ran across about genital herpes from 2 very knowledgable doctors...they said that it doesn't matter if it's 1 or 2 and both effect the genital area and hsv 1(genitally) is becoming very common because oral sex is becoming more and more acceptable.
