"Popping" a blister???

I have not been diagnosed (I am going tomorrow), but I would like to know what happens if you "pop" a herpes blister. Can anyone help me?

Wounded-

I would not reommend popping a blister especially if this is your first outbreak. Autoinnoclulation is rare after you've had the virus for awhile, but if this is your first outbreak I'm sure you could still spread it around your body since your immune system has not yet built up a response to the virus, so you might not want to do that. Not to mention if you have a partner, you could spread it to them more easily. Basically the fluid from the blisters is very contagious, so you might want to think twice before popping one.

also it makes it really really painful so dont do it, it normally does it itself, if so use anaesthetic cream to stop the pain
