Recently I've been dating a girl who has gential herpes. She has type 1, we've been together for about 3 months. She hasn't had an outbreak in 3 years, I currently have type 1 oral herpes. A few days we were having sex and the condom came off and brushed up against her skin and stubb. I recently devolped a rash in that area that very day. Since I had type in my system and i used lysine and valtrex for my mouth I figured i'd be okay. Also my mother was married to my father for 20 years and he had genetial herpes and she never recieved it from him. I was just curious if it was irratation or herpes. It's red and tiny red bumps on the head. They do not burn or itch at all, but I was wondering if they appear first before they start to hurt and how long should it be before i feel something. It also feels kind'a wierd in that area no pain though. If someone could answer me that would be great thank you.
