| girlfriend gets herpes
Recently my girlfriend of over a year has contracted genital herpes. She was tested last summer and so we are positive that this is a recent development. I was tested shortly after this news and do not have genital herpes. One thing my doctor did say though is that I have oral herpes. My younger sister has had canker sores her whole life, apparently it is just in our blood, but I have never had an outbreak that I know of. So is there any way possible that I have given my girlfriend genital herpes through oral sex? Or should I assume that she has been seeing someone else? This is a very emotional time, I would appreciate some help with this one.
