| I'm back to provide an Update
Ok. So, As I mentioned in threads back in January, I was going to stop taking medication after my second OB, that began in the fall of 06.
I also had my physical and was diagnosed with HSV 1, still not sure why it ended up on my penis, but oh well. I never got any sores on my face.
I can positively report that by not taking medication, the remaining bumps came out and I am OB free. I have been this way since the end of February and I have been sexually active. It has to be the fact that my immune system was given enough time to generate antibodies for self defense.
To conclude... I would suggest waiting it out on the first and/or second outbreak... rough it and avoid medication unless it truely never goes away.
I am not taking any supplements or changed my diet...
I hope this helps people that are affraid to try healing on their own. If you have a healthy immune system, it's always better than drugs.
