I am positive for H1 and CFS (EBV) and ex-girlfriend is H1 and H2 positive. I was tested 6 months ago and she just found out her results. I must now be retested for h2, as we were together sexually until last month. I miss her greatly and am considering reconciling with her, but I am scared to death of having sex with her. I will find out soon enough if I have h2 also, but meanwhile she had oral sex on me once and I didn't realize it was as big a risk as it is. I heard if you already have one your chances a lesser that you will contract it as genital and that your chances are a little less to contract h2.....is there ANY truth in this? And besides getting retested, should I totally abstain from sexual contact with her?
