I used to get cold sores a lot on the corners of my mouth when I was little. I can remember it. I haven't had one in a long time but I just started taking nasacort for my allergies, which is a cortiosteroid and is immunosuppressive I think.
It seems like I've had a cold sore which comes and goes on the right corner of my mouth for about 2 weeks now. It never gets very big and it comes for a few days, then shrinks, and then comes back all the sudden.
My question is, can the blister be caused by the nasacort that I am taking due to its immunosuppressive quality?
I know Ive always had these sores growing up so I haven't recently caught the virus from anyone. It's probably in my blood. Is it possible for me to pass it to someone I kiss on the mouth? or even genitally?
