Hello. Newbie here. I guess like many of you I think I have contracted Herpes. I recently had unprotected sex with someone I have been seeing. Not a serious relationship, just a casual thing so far. It was last Wed and Thursday we had sex. Friday night I noticed two red itchy bumps on the outside of my vagina. The labia I think its called. No other symptoms. I'm scared to go to a Dr. I've been doing all sorts of research...just nervious to take the last step and get it checked out.

I feel so stupid. Im scared of having to deal with this for the rest of my life.

you really need to go to the doc. But, if it is herpes, it's gonna itch worse than any yeast infection you've ever had.

Oh, I don't know about that! Don't scare the girl!!

I have genital herpes, and my sores don't actually itch at all. The only time it itched was when I had one that kept breaking open due to movement - all the others were fine.

Everyone reacts differently to it, so wait and see what happens. But I agree, go see a Doctor, preferably while you still show symptoms!!

Ive never had a yeast infection, but I get what you're saying. They dont itch bad. Guess when I move or change positions sitting they get a little irritated.

I automatically think the worst when I saw them. I guess I just want to know for sure and the only way to know is to see a Dr. Im terribly afraid of Drs and have always been. Duno why. Im scared of what the answer to my questions will be too.

And how do I tell this person. How do I ask if he has anything without sounding like Im accusing him. I dont know. I have a million questions... I just need some piece of mind.
