Listen, I know that you are worried and stressed about whether or not you have herpes. But you keep asking questions like "if it doesn't does this mean it isn't herpes" etc. As I said before, it's different for every person. The symptoms might act one way for you that they don't for another.
YES, IT MIGHT BE HERPES!! No one on this site is going to tell you "That means it's not herpes". Sorry.
I know you don't have insurance, but you really need to see a doctor. I have no insight as to how your health system work or where you can get free care - I hope someone else here can help you with that.
The only time I'll tell someone it's most likely not herpes is if they have some bumps that pop like a pimple because herpes doesn't have a "head" like a zit has. My husbands don't hurt or itch, he just gets a red spot no bigger than a mosquito bite...they don't really do anything, they don't ooze much if at all and they just last about a week and fade away. My herpes has decided to jump locations and I seldom get anything in my genitals now, I'm getting rashes on other parts of my body and they itch like nothing I've ever experienced before in my life!
I agree with what MOT said in the fact that even on one person, their OBs can be different from one time to the next...mine sure are!
May I recommend a product to you that someone I know says helps her with rashes and itchy skin? She doesn't have herpes though. The product is called "Miracle II soap." I haven't used it personally, so can't know for sure if it will help with your itchy skin due to herpes, but it helps with itchy skin in general. You can buy it online.
Can that be purchased at a health food store? It sounds kind of "hokey" to me with the spiritual aspect of it...I'm not a religious person so that wouldn't do me much good...HAHA! What I've found with this rashes is it really doesn't matter what you try and put on them except for the fact that anything strong(alcohol or tea tree oil) will make them worse and irritate them...you have to be extremely careful not to scratch them or put strong alcohol on them or you'll have a sore three times as big as they once were!!!!! I was just telling my husband that with those rashes they just have to run their course...they will itch and itch and itch or a week or more solid and then all of a sudden one day they will stop itching and be almost gone. It's just a very weird thing.
