Passed H to Partner?

Hello. I was diagnosed with H a month or so ago. My first outbreak was pretty bad. However, I haven't had one since. This past week I shaved...you know what... and I felt a little uncomfortable 'down there'... I had sex with my boyfriend (with a condom, of course) and after we were done, he pulled out and the condom got stuck in me. I don't know how much contact he possibly could have had with my labia, but I am concerned because I have been very tired lately, and have noticed a bump on my labia that could either be razor burn, etc. or a sore... I haven't felt the normal excessive itching or pain, but I'm concerned I could be about to have an outbreak. I am bugging out because my boyfriend told me that he has a 102 fever and has recently gone to the doctor and is getting a blood test, and he claims that the fever is his 'only symptom.' He doesn't know that I have H, but wouldn't he have noticed symptoms on him 'down there' and have told his doctor about that? If so, a blood test wouldn't be the first test they did on him, right?
OK my question is... am I just bugging out, or could I possibly have given my partner Herpes?
Please help. And be honest.
Thanks

Re: Passed H to Partner?

Yes you could have given him herpes. It would not show up on a blood test yet.

You better tell him you have it though. Condom isn't 100% protection.

Re: Passed H to Partner?

Just from him pulling out? I am not even sure I am having an outbreak... and what would explain him just having a fever and no other symptoms? When I had my first OB, I had a fever after I noticed sores... I really am still not used to this whole concept, and I just don't see how it's 100% possible...

Re: Passed H to Partner?

Any skin on skin contact can spread the virus. It does not have to be penis to vagina. It could be thigh on thigh. You have to tell him. If the doctor is not looking for something like that, they will not necessarily test for herpes. Me, I always specifically included it in my tests in my annual gyno exams. Was negative time and time again. Now positive. Crappy thing about this is you can never be 100% sure you are not shedding it. Hell most of us got it from partners who had no symptoms and did not even know they had it. I'm terrified of possibly passing it on to my partner who has not yet gone to be tested. Every time I even think of having sex with him, I can feel things burning and tingling. The stress of thinking I could hurt him only aggravates the virus. Reminds me of that scene in Airplane 2 with both actors wearing entire condoms over their bodies. :::: Sigh ::::
