How fast would I see the signs of herpes after intercourse. A day, few days, weeks, . . .?

when you say years and decades.. I am wondering how it did not get detected? When you go in for physicals and doctor stuff do they not test for for all STDs or do you have to specifically ask for the "herpes test"?

Herpes testing is NOT part of a regular STD test, how crazy is that? You have to ask for it specifically. That's why there are large #'s of people who have contracted it & possibly spread it and aren't even aware or they are aware & chalked the symptons up as something else (ie: rash, jock itch, ect) or are aware and just live in denial.
