| Re: genital herpes
Hsv-1 is oral herpes and hsv-2 is Genital herpes. In alot of instances, someone can pass on HSV-1 to the genital region through oral sex. It has been said that HSV-1 doesn't have as many outbreaks as HSV-2, especially if its genital because it is so far away from where the virus "sleeps". HSV-1 sleeps in the nerves near the ear, so the genitals are far away from there, hence why they say it doesn't outbreak as much. Some people with HSV-1 only have 1 outbreak ever, some people have it 1 a year...some people have a horrible time with it, so it depends on the person. You havn't developed an immunity to it, you are just lucky and haven't had an reaccurant outbreaks. I hope this helps!
