New Theory...Need Feedback - Herpes Message Board

Okay...I've got a new theory and want to bounce it off all of you. Here goes...

I was on Accutane for acne in my early 20's. I really worked great, it dried everything up and my acne = gone. Here's the herpes rub.

Is it possible that the Accutane has changed the way my body works such that even if I did have genital herpes it would be inherantly less intense due to the Accutane? What I mean is, could I have lesser herpedic lesions, etc. since I was an Accutane patient?

This is probably a bogus question, but I'll ask my dermatologis nonetheless on Friday. I'm sure the guy will think it's a half cooked idea but hey...I'm grasping for info here.

ToughSpot, I don't know what you do for a living, but if you're not doing some kind of analytical work, you definitely should! LOL

I've never heard of Accutane having an effect on herpes, but anything is possible.
