i have read that certain foods you eat may bring on an ob. i was wandering if any of you know what types of foods they are talking about.

i do have another question, how do you tell someone that you are dating that you have this disease. i have to say that i am questioning myself on how i told the guy that i used to date. i would like to just be ready in case a new man comes along.

Hi Teeyore,

These topics have been discussed at length in the archives of this board. If you do a search for words like "lysine" and "arginine" and "food" you should be able to find info about foods to avoid.

As for how to tell a partner, I posted suggestions about this just a couple of weeks ago. Check out a thread called "help for my brother."
